Mrs. Vicky (Giddens) Kennedy, Owner and Head Chef Of “Vickey’s Soul Grill Takeout & Catering” Along With Chef Mrs. Dolores Mitchell. Together We Combine A Touch Of Northern And Southern Soul Food Cuisine. 


Ms. Vicky Giddens – owner/manager/head Chef, is the head chef of “Vickey’s Soul Grill Takeout & Catering.” Vicky, graduated from Beavard Community College in 1993 obtaining her culinary degree. Going on to successfully open her own restaurant “Vickey’s Soul Grill-The House of Soul,” this operated from 2002 to 2004 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The restaurant was very successful only too closed due to Ms. Giddens, suffering a near fatal automobile accident and required more than 3 major surgeries. Although suffering a major loss of her restaurant due to an automobile accident. Ms. Giddens, later returned to operate her own successful Northern/Southern soul food-service catering business from the comfort of her home.

She has 15 years’ experience in the restaurant industry, also has experience in marketing, business management, self-promotion, most recently employed at Red Lobster in Pittsburgh, Pa. Ms. Vicky Giddens, job duties consisted of operating and managing the restaurants day to day functions. She will be responsible for the full range of duties necessary to ensure a restaurant’s success.

Management responsibilities include ensuring legal compliance with food safety and storage regulations, developing in-store marketing strategies, training employees/supervisors. Out sourcing ingredients, maintain supplier relationships and make capital investment recommendations.


Mr. Michael Kennedy – Operation Manager, Michael has over 10 years in marketing/online marketing and sales, 5 years in business management, Michael’s job duties will include, serving customers, Arranging window displays, Ordering stock, Stock taking and inventory, Cleaning up store and display area, convening team meetings, Recruiting and training new team members, supervising staff, Performing ad hoc tasks, Delegating workload, Assisting in other store operations, being creative, Being diligent and reliable, Being computer literate, managing people and projects, Resolving store issues, Customer service, Being a good team player.
